I had one of those 'can't get out of here' dreams last night. I was stuck in a high school and running around and through the twisting halls and trying to avoid the classrooms.
Eventually I did land in a classroom where students were sitting and standing and one girl was trying to pass off the music to "Sleepless Beauty" with her own English lyrics. I couldn't help but speak up and tell the room she didn't write the music (that's when I realized I was Shindou Shuichi in the dream) and proceeded to talk about copyright issues. That may seem OOC for some people, but I think Shu WOULD be aware of them if he was in the business for a while.
As the conversation with the students and teacher continued, I sat down at the piano and started playing the music to "Sleepless Beauty", sometimes closing my eyes and smiling. Toward the end, I sang the Japanese lyrics. When done, I opened my eyes and saw the girl who had used the tune crouched down by me on the left, eyes big. She whispered "Shuichi?" I looked to the other side and saw the teacher and students staring at me in wonder. I looked back at the girl, put my finger to one eyeball and shifted the contact so she could see the purple under it. She put her fists against her mouth to stop the squeals. She whispered "Is Yuki here?" I said, "He's around here somewhere" and smile.
Then I woke up, probably from the pain in my chest.
It was the second time (that I can remember) I dreamed of being Shuichi. I don't dream of being cartoon characters. I loved his energy.
The first time I dreamed about being him was a bit sad. He was being ignored by everyone when the group went to Disneyland. He ended up leaving the party, going back to the hotel, changing the colour of his hair and going out into the park all by himself. He met lots of strangers (mostly families) and had fun with them. Then he left the hotel before the rest of the party and went into this serious independent mode - moving out of his and Eiri's place and getting his own, only talking about work during business hours and telling Eiri he would only see him again if they officially started dating.
I made lots of notes on it after I woke up, with the idea it may turn into a story later on. It's twistingly OOC, though. It would also have to be separate from my personal E&S timeline. I don't write angst so I've considered it, only if it's a writing exercise.
Thanks: --> to Lia, my sensei, who has inspired me to draw again. I
wouldn't be doing this without your support, Domo Arigato!
--> to Talon, for sending me her fabulous fics, inspiring me with her writing to draw my first
illustration for a story and actually liking what I drew.
--> to Dasia, for her words of encouragement when drawing her original chara.
--> to Joules, a wonderful epic fic writer, for liking my art enough to want to post them with Talon's
and her own stories.
--> to Lutra, the other half of the epic team, for being so supportive.
--> to Jacque' & Becca Raddittzu, we met on eBay as bidder and sellers and now we are face-to-face
friends. You showed us the real DBZ with your fansubs. It's all your fault the house is full of
doujinshi! *LOL*
